- 2 dessertspoon (dsp) sugar
- 2 dsp malt vinegar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/4 tsp white pepper (or black pepper)
- 2 TBSP soy sauce
- 2tsp tomato sauce
- Mix all ingredients in a saucepan
- add 8 Tbsp water
- bring to boil
- mix cornflour with a wee bit of water to make a paste
- add cornflower to boiling sauce
- stir quickly with a whisk to keep it smooth
